Nicky Vaux, aka The Boat Princess is a passionate advocate for boating and a multiple business entrepreneur.
Empire Marina Bobbin Head and Empire Marina Lake Macquarie in which Nicky is a partner and Business Development Manager are marinas truly at the top of their game. EMBH is the most awarded marina in Sydney. This 5 Gold Anchor marina offers 200 berths, full service hardstand, boat brokerage, Award Winning Waterside Bistro and all of the services on site one should expect for the ultimate care of your vessel. Empire Marina Lake Macquarie has 250 berths and a full service hardstand making it the largest boating facility on Lake Macquarie, an incredible boating destination.
Her mission is to entice more women into boating and the boating industry. She holds a position as a Director on the Board of the Marina Industries Association, has contributed to many publications including Ocean and Nautilus Marine Magazines, The Suite Collective and has a successful podcast and instagram community.
As a marinas owner, luxury boat owner and former boat broker for some 7 years, her knowledge on boats is extensive and offers a different perspective to just the brochure. She enjoys a multi-faceted network of great people that cover every aspect of the boating and luxury lifestyle worldwide and loves to connect those that can help each other.
She likes to share her knowledge through her appearances, contributions to media, website, socials and events.
Nicky's ethos, enjoyment and approach to her businesses is based on the fundamental belief that a rising tide lifts all boats and nothing feels better than making others feel good - and being on the water makes everyone feel good #bluemind.
